Blending the best of traditional and modern design, Mahalo House’s fresh white walls and polished floorboards are styled with an array of carefully curated furniture and homewares, from the Byron region and around the world.
Our signature wraparound deck offers all-year-round al fresco dining and several lounging areas overlooking the tropical grounds, where our resident koala dwells!
No longer offering overnight accommodation due to the disruption to the community. Our intimate event space, Studio Mahalo, will hopefully re-open in mid 2022, pandemic pending!

Just 15 minutes from the beaches, restaurants, bars and shops of Byron Bay, Bangalow has become a hinterland destination in its own right – well-known and well-loved for its independent boutiques, cafes and farmers market.
